6:30-8:00 Software in the cloud: How real-world solution architectures may look in the future
The future seems to point at customers and partners deploying large parts or even complete solutions into third party data centres commonly referred to as "the cloud". Microsoft is making significant investments into this area, huge data centres are being built and offerings such as Windows Azure (.NET Services, SQL Services Data ) are being actively developed by Microsoft.
In this session we’ll discuss how technologies available today are used to solve business requirements and discuss some of the challenges and limitations experienced today.
We’ll then move to position the key cloud offerings available from Microsoft and demonstrate how they can be used together as an implementation of a fictional scenario which will leverage Windows Azure,.NET Services and SQL Services that address a number of key challenges experienced by customers today and paint a real-world picture of how these technologies can be used by you and your customers.
This session will feature extensive amounts of hands-on technical demonstrations to fully explain how the technology works and fits together.
Objective: Demonstrate how the use BizTalk Services overcomes big issues today, connectivity between organisations and federated identity
Provide a view on how software solutions are likely to look moving forward through the use of cloud based software
Explain cloud based services, identity, workflow and data concepts from an architectural point of view
