    The forums and site layout

Mike asked last night for suggestions as to ways of improving the site and making it more active. I think the main problem is the layout and the navigation. Nothing is particularly intuitive or easy to find. For starters, going to the Forums page should take you to a list of all the forums (with sub-rows showing the latest topic/reply). The list of forums right now seems buried away.

The front page might even then want to be forums page... right now seeing who signed up to the forum isn't a very interesting thing to read and nothing that is going to make you click to follow a link.

Does Community Server have syndication functionality? Subscribing to one/all forums as RSS feeds would be a winner for me...

"Yes" is the answer there. Didn't spot it earlier, but the RSS feed is available for "Active Forums" and it works nicely.
